The Triaxial Test Apparatus by ARCL Instruments Pvt. Ltd. is a precision soil-testing system designed to determine the shear strength, stress–strain behaviour and deformation characteristics of soil under controlled confining pressure. In a triaxial test, a cylindrical soil specimen is enclosed in a flexible membrane and subjected to controlled cell pressure and axial loading, allowing realistic simulation of field stress conditions. The apparatus can be configured for Unconsolidated Undrained (UU), Consolidated Drained (CD), and Consolidated Undrained (CU) triaxial tests. Advanced configurations can incorporate pore-water pressure measurement and volume-change measurement for determination of effective stress parameters.
