The ARCL Hand Operated Compression Testing Machine is a heavy-duty hydraulic testing machine designed for determining the compressive strength of concrete cubes, cylinders, blocks and other construction materials. The machine uses a manual hydraulic pumping system for controlled application of compressive load and an analogue calibrated dial gauge for direct load indication. Its robust construction, simple operation and reliable hydraulic system make it suitable for civil engineering laboratories, construction companies, educational institutions, R&D laboratories and quality-control facilities. The machine is designed around the requirements applicable to compression testing machines used for concrete and mortar testing. IS 14858 specifies visual load indication, a resettable maximum-load device and accuracy requirements for compression testing machines.
